karlsruhe based dj/producer roman muhlschlegel dropped his first musical gems back in 2008. inspired by disco and funk and working from an analogue-heavy studio, the german turns out smooth, deep and groovy house with touch of elegance and slice of grit. for his petra digital/vinyl debut the soul estate label boss has crafted two fresh and original gems in sweet but stinky and hot tea with sugar, both of which are backed by remixes. fellow german peter clamat gets to grips with the opening number whilst amsterdams nachtbraker reworks the title track.
